Oh, I absolutely adored this one! Some DD/lg stories give me the heebie jeebies, but this one was perfect (especially when Lola caught herself being a brat and when River laughed at the tantrum she was throwing). I enjoyed getting to know Lola and loved that she had such a big heart. I also liked that she was so open-minded and found it completely hilarious when she couldn't understand why she liked being so dependent and submissive to River. And OMG, River!! I loved his patience. I liked the fact that he was willing to take baby steps, so to speak. I loved his aftercare. I've read quite a few books where aftercare wasn't a priority for the Dom, but River delivered each and every time and I absolutely swooned. I liked Kade's character, but I felt like Arch and Das weren't given enough detail, so hopefully there are follow up books for them. The one thing I didn't like about the book was the repetitiveness of some of the phases. It got to be a bit annoying after a while.
Overall, I would recommend this to others and although this was my first book from this author, I look forward to more from her.
**I received and ARC and reviewed voluntarily.**
