Random Lit. . . with Natasha D. Frazier

Love, Lies, & Consequences

Synopsis:

The only way to prove what you say you believe is to be put to the test. So was the case with Raegan who was all set to live a life free of sexual impurities until she met Rico, who challenged her character. Sex outside of marriage isn't all that bad if you're going to eventually marry that person, right? Afterall, Rico did want to marry her and she thought she wanted to marry him until Caleb, her college love, comes back into her life.

Not only does Raegan have choices to make, but so does her good friend Tammy who gets a second chance at love with her estranged husband.

What will they choose? Both friends find themselves in a whirlwind romance filled with Love, Lies & Consequences.

Review:

**4 Stars**

I felt Raegan was too indecisive. She knew there was something off about Rico yet she stayed with him, confessed feelings that she wasn't too sure about, and never asked enough questions. She constantly put herself in situations guranteed to make her fail at her intended life goals, which made me view her as immature and childish. The book was well written and the plot was great. The author did an amazing job of holding my interest, ensuring that I wouldn't want to put the book down. My biggest complaint was that I feel like there wasn't really a true ending. It's like a cliffhanger without the hanger part, more of just a cliff since there were unanswered questions (will she tell Rico about things that are going on, confront him about his indiscretions, tell Caleb about Rico, etc) and nothing to indicate if there would be a second book. Overall, I enjoyed the book and would definitely recommend it to others. It addresses many things that I know people struggle with, lust being the main one. However, I still felt as though something was missing and I was left with more questions than answers.
