My Review:

**4-stars**

This book was a cute and funny account of Hunter and Bailey's story. I liked that while it was insta-love it wasn't insta-relationship. I liked that the authors gave the characters time to learn each other; but I also loved that the authors didn't make Bailey focus on how many girls Hunter could've been with or any of the rumors about him (at least, not in a negative light).

I loved Hunter. He was ridiculously perfect. And hot. I liked that he was such a good guy, but then when his inner alpha came out, all bets were off. I liked Bailey's character, but I also felt like I wanted to punch her. She was so quick to think the worst and even though Hunter was her best friends, she treated him lie some regular old Joe when things exploded.

Overall, this was a good book. I look forward to more from these authors.

CONNECT WITH THE AUTHORS

NYT & USA Today bestselling author M. Malone lives in the Washington, DC metro area with her husband and their two sons. She holds a master’s degree in Business from a prestigious college that would no doubt be scandalized by how she’s using her expensive education. Independently published, she has sold more than 1/2 million ebooks in her two series, THE ALEXANDERS and BLUE-COLLAR BILLIONAIRES. Since starting her indie journey in 2011 with the runaway bestselling novella “Teasing Trent,” her work has appeared on the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists more than a dozen times. She’s now a full-time writer and spends 99.8% of her time in her pajamas.

USA Today bestselling author Nana Malone‘s love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense novel she “borrowed” from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She’s been in love with kick-butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination constantly channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters. While she waits for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, Nana works out her drama, passion and sass with fictional characters every bit as brazen and kick-butt as she thinks she is.

Niall

I have twenty-eight days to find the perfect wife… As a sought-after photographer with a sexy Irish accent, I have no problem attracting women. Especially crazy ones whose position in my company have me backed into a corner. The solution is simple: find a fake fiancĂ©e and save my job. A chance meeting with a tall blonde seems almost too good to be true. Beautiful, sane, and she has a kid? We have a winner. I planned everything...except falling for her. A lie brought us together, but now I have no intention of letting her go.

Laken

I can’t buy my way onto Madison Avenue… Whoever said hard work pays off never applied for a marketing internship at Trask & Payne. Even though I just got my fifth rejection letter, I won’t give up. I’ll continue biding my time playing nanny to the overprivileged. Then one outrageous proposal changes everything, and I find myself fake engaged with a fake new family. I’d tell him the kid isn’t mine, but there’s a problem. My new “fiancĂ©” is a photographer for Trask & Payne. He’s my “in.” If I can hold on to this charade, I can get the job and the man of my dreams. Game on.

My Review:

**3.7-stars**

This was a very cute story with likable characters and a good plot.

I liked that Laken was willing to go for what she wanted. I liked that she cared about Preston to the point of putting up with "Lady Hammerle" (LOL!!) and her attitude. I also liked that Niall was willing to go so far in order to have the best possible life for his daughter. It was a big contrast to the situation Preston was in. Niall and Laken getting to know each other was extremely cute and I really enjoyed that part. They made a great couple. They were funny and quirky and I could honestly picture them in real life.

Overall, the story flowed well, but it wasn't "edge of my seat attention grabbing" for me and I couldn't get past the fact that Laken didn't just admit to who Preston was. I felt like it wasn't that big of a deal-breaker, regardless of how the story turned out and for some reason that just stuck with me and overshadowed the rest of it. However, it did make for a very cringe-worthy can't look away from the train wreck read.

That said, I would definitely read more from this author and would recommend her to others.

About the Author:

International bestselling author Cora Kenborn writes twisted romances about damaged bad boys and feisty heroines. She promises her readers a happily ever after, although she may or may not take them on an emotional rollercoaster before giving it to them. (Okay, she totally will.) A Southern girl from North Carolina, Cora says “y’all” way too much and has a lifelong addiction to sweet tea. She refuses to “adult” without coffee, thinks pajamas are acceptable daywear, and considers note-taking during true crime shows to be perfectly normal. On the rare occasion that Cora has free time, she spends it avoiding laundry and convincing her family that Hot Pockets are an acceptable dinner. Oh, and autocorrect thinks she’s obsessed with ducks.

Random Release & Review . . . Do You Do Extras? by Nikki Ashton

Do You Do Extras?
By Nikki Ashton
Available Now:

BLURB:
Grantley James is Hollywood’s newest action hero. He’s got the looks, the body and can barely crack a smile, mainly because he has the mother from hell.

Phoebe Drinkwater is an Extra on Grantley’s new film. She’s happy and fun loving but will never be as beautiful as her parents’ imaginary youngest daughter, Melania.

Whoever could imagine they’d ever be friends, never mind more – certainly not Grantley James, but he just can’t get the girl who’s a pain in his perfect bum, off his mind.

Add a foul mouthed agent, an embarrassing incident with a glow in the dark vibrator and an estranged father and you’ve got Do You Do Extras?

This is the new romantic comedy from Nikki Ashton author of the acclaimed No Bra Required and Roman’s Having Sex Again.

At the centre of this beautiful romance are moments that will make you laugh out loud, and those which will pull at your emotions, but all in all you’ll get a stonking good read.

My Review:

**4-Stars**

This book tells the story of Grantley and Phoebe's meeting and developing relationship. There was a great amount of laugh out loud moments and that made the book supremely interesting for me. I loved that Phoebe's character was such a sweetheart, but I also liked that she had her flaws. I loved the relationship between her, her sister, and her adorable nephews.

I have mixed emotions about Grantley's character. My initial opinion of him versus how he was after a few chapters were complete opposites and that didn't sit well with me. It seemed like his character was made a jerk just for token purposes as opposed to it just being his character. Outside of that, I liked his protectiveness and how he handled himself with the other characters,

Everything with Grantley and his parents . . . absolute chaos. That really blew my mind.

Overall, I enjoyed this book and would definitely read more from this author.

EXCERPT:

“Oh God, I’m so sorry.”
“Could you watch where you’re going instead of looking at your damn cell?”
I hadn’t really registered who was standing in front of me, not until I realised I was listening to an American accent. Very slowly I lifted my head and inch by inch, took in the specimen of perfection that stood before me.
“You’re Grantley James,” I gasped as my gaze landed on his face.
His pale green eyes stared at me through his dark brown hair that was sexily dishevelled.
“Yeah I am,” he snapped. “And you’re damn clumsy.”
