I originally joined the Navy as an escape, to become more than a country farm boy. Being a Navy SEAL turned me into a man, but one without a life outside the military. I tried to move on with my life, and find a new sense of normalcy with my daughter and myself. One simple holiday act of kindness has set my carefully choreographed life into a tailspin. I could never have guessed writing a simple letter to a deployed sailor would bring us to a place we can finally call ‘Home’ again.

Can these two trust in the things they can not see to find true happiness?

**While Faith can be read as a standalone, it is best enjoyed after reading Honor, Love, Fate, and Power.**


My Review:
**3 stars**

I waited quite some time for Justin's story. The bits and pieces I caught of him throughout the series were barely enough to hold me over, but he's finally here!!! Also, *insert sad face emoji*.

I loved that Justin had the capacity to be THAT guy (alpha, protective, possessive, loving, sweet, sexy, etc). I was thrilled when we got a glimpse of it when Becca lost her silly little mind and basically broke up with him . . . by email (totally not her fault, but still). However, I felt absolutely cheated. It was literally a glimpse, him saying he would fight and he wasn't going to give up, and then NOTHING! It went nowhere. Just fizzled out and died.

As for Becca, I loved her as a mother. She'd been hurt before and unfortunately, she didn't want to put herself or her child in that position. Completely understandable and respectable, but I felt like it was drawn out unnecessarily. After a while, it was no longer relatable because she never made any effort to ask questions and talk about her feelings and insecurities (yet she claimed to feel as though Justin was someone she could open up to and share her feeling with) and all her heartache and misery was based solely on assumption.

Olivia was absolutely adorable and I loved the secondary characters.

Overall, it was a quick and interesting read, it just fell short of my expectations. I enjoyed the previous books far more than I did this one.

About the Author

Being an introvert, Taki has always found it hard to fit in and make friends. Instead, she could be found playing make-believe games and dreaming about far away adventures. Believe it or not, it was not until fifth grade that she found her love for reading, the book that started it all as Harry Potter. From that point on she couldn't get enough of books and by the time she hit sixth grade she started writing, starting at first with horrible fanfiction until finally coming up with her own stories. With that said, being raised around the trucking industry she has always had the ability to travel around the US and she loved every minute of it. Every trip was an adventure and opened her eyes to the world around her. Now, as an adult, she had the drive to travel the world. There are so many places that she wishes to see. Until then though, she contents herself to traveling the worlds she has created within her books. At the moment, Taki can be found either writing about faraway places or reading a book. My Review:
**4-stars**


This book was pleasantly surprising, considering it was a new author for me.

The book tells Milli's story and her struggle with not having any active magic. She feels like a disappointment to her family, a Legacy of Guards (magical police) who she feels shuns her. A chance encounter leads her to a guy she had a major crush on an from there her life changes drastically.

I enjoyed Milli's character and Colm's. The interaction between them and how the plot developed around them was really good. I actually liked that even though Milli was plagued by doubts she was still a strong character. I also enjoyed the secondary characters.

I felt that things were left unfinished between her and her family as well as her taking the exam. The ending also seemed abrupt in its closing; not necessarily a cliffhanger, but more so just cuts off. I was expecting an epilogue of something. Hopefully, there's a sequel coming although I'm not sure if this is a series. I just felt like there were some unanswered questions.
